Our Black Men Magazine obtained an exclusive interview with Josias Jean-Pierre.
Hi Josias, we are thrilled to interview you today. Please tell us about your company and how it got started.
Josias: JP Credit Solutions is a company that focuses on empowering, equipping, and elevating people to flourish with no limits. This company got started in 2018 after doing government collections and working in the financial industry, I realize that one of the things that are holding people back to flourish is the mindset. The company is solely focused on helping people obtain the mindset so they can walk into whatever they might deem impossible.
Congratulations on becoming an Amazon bestseller! That’s a very big deal! We would love to hear all about your book. What can you tell us about it?
Josias: I authored three books, “The Power Of Your Words,” “What Is Your Why Behind The Drive?” And “Our Cry For Justice.” The first book, The Power Of Your Words, is about how it’s important that we are very careful with the words that we speak over our lives. Because the words we speak will determine the mindset that we have, the belief we have about ourselves, and whom we attract to our circle.
The second book, What Is Your Why Behind The Drive? Talks about understanding your purpose and how to walk into your purpose. The steps you need to take to blossom into your purpose. This book focuses on establishing a why that is so firm that even when the weight of the world comes in, you can still going on despite of what it is. Obtaining a why that is bigger than your excuses so you won’t be shaken in difficult times. What motivates you to keep going on no matter what? Making purpose moves instead of just making moves.
The third book, Our Cry For Justice, is a poetry book I wrote going back from mother Theresa to Breonna Taylor. Motivated by the 2020 events of civil unrest and when the book launched, it hit Amazon’s number one best seller in multiple categories.
As a motivational speaker and coach, what are you passionate about and what sparked your interest to pursue this career path?
Josias: As a motivational speaker and a coach, I am passionate about seeing people breaking obstacles, breaking curses, and creating something with what they got. I am passionate about helping people see beyond the deck of cards in their hands. Just because it looks like defeat, it does not mean the end will be defeat. Just because your upbringing looks a certain way it does not mean that you have to carry that forward. What sparked my interest in pursuing this path was when I realized I broke all odds that were thrown against me. Being a Haitian immigrant, having a learning disability, being in Special Ed, being in ESL & E.L.L being told to drop out and give up because of my disability. Being told to give up on my dreams of becoming the voice for my generation and being an author. A lot of folks seen my setback and said this was it. But I kept on believing that I can be whatever I put my mind to.
I had a vision of authorship, speaking, and traveling to empower people nationwide. At 23 my first book came out. At 27 my second book came out which touch lives throughout the nation where big media companies started to reach out to interview me about the work that I do and the impact that is left on people’s lives because of the book. And at 28 my third book came out which hit Amazon #1 best seller in multiple categories

Josias: My highlight for 2022 was getting married to my Bestfriend Areale. In 2023 be on the lookout for more books to be released and doing God’s work.
What do you think are some of the best qualities that keep you an high in demand entrepreneur?
Josias: Some of the best qualities that keep me in high demand as an entrepreneur is my vulnerability in sharing my stories so others can heal. My full authentic journey of where I was at and how I got to where I am now. I don’t hold anything back and I connect to audiences in a way where it hits home for them. Focus and intent is to reach one and reach one and that’s why I’m in high demand as an entrepreneur.
Where do you see yourself and your company in the future? What steps are you taking to get there?
Josias: I see my company in the next future doing camps and trainings nationwide around self-development.
What is a super fun fact about yourself that many people are not aware of?
Josias: A fun fact about myself that people are not aware of is that I can write a whole manuscript within 30 days.
What else would you like our readers to know about you and the work that you do?
Josias: I want readers to know that the work I do is solely focused on empowering you so you can be whom God created you to be. It’s solely focused on breaking strongholds so you can have a victor mentality. Moving from victim to victor. I want readers to know about me is that I am a miracle and I never allowed how it looks determine how it was going to be.
Any shoutouts you would like to give?
Josias: Shout out to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ who saw the best in me no matter what. And also a shoutout to my mom Venese Jean-Pierre who gave everything she got to make sure that I got something better and doing better. For showing me to trust in God and believe in God no matter how it looks. Lastly to my Bestfriend and my beautiful wife, Areale for being my biggest supporter.
